postcards from nowhere

Greetings!

Mark this day on your calendar -- June 22, 2002.  Karen Alonge has 
nothing to say.  

After over a year of weekly messages, I can't think of anything 
to write about.  More than likely this is a temporary state of 
affairs prompted by the heat and school being out for summer. 
But just in case, I'd like to give notice that I may not be 
sending these postcards as regularly as I have in the past.  
From now on they'll come whenever inspiration strikes.

What IS inspiring me right this minute is the idea of personal 
postcards.  Here's what I'm thinking:  for a fee of around $25, 
I'll write a postcard just for you.  

Send me an email about anything that is going on in your life 
right now, and I'll send you a private reply with my comments 
and suggestions, usually within a day or two. 

If you find my reply to be helpful, you can send me a check by 
snail mail or Paypal.  I'm thinking $25 seems reasonable, but 
if it's very long or detailed you could send more, and if your 
finances are tight you could send less.

So if you're interested, start writing that email to me right now.  
I'll be waiting right here by the fan with a nice cold lemonade.  
Otherwise, I'll see you when inspiration strikes again.
